Application of renewal of the certificate of Registration shall be made by the merchant bankers according to Regulation 9 of SEBI (Merchant Bankers) Rules and Regulations, 1992.
While filling the renewal application for the certificate of registration as a merchant banker, it shall provide a statement highlighting the changes that have taken place in the information that was submitted to the Board for the earlier registration, and a declaration stating that no other changes besides those mentioned in the above statement have taken place.
In SEBI For registration as a Merchant Banker, an applicant is required to pay a non- refundable application fee of Rs.50,000/- by way of demand draft drawn in favor of "Securities and Exchange Board of India", payable at Mumbai.
The Capital Adequacy Requirement(CAR) shall not be less than the net worth of the person making the application for grant of Registration registration.
